Das Büro für Leerstand hat den Auftrag Leerstand in Zürich zu bilden. Für dieses Forschungsprojekt führt die Leerstandsbeauftragte Experimente vor Ort aus, holt Expertisen ein und betreibt Öffentlichkeitsarbeit. Das Vorhaben und der Prozess werden auf dem hierfür angelegten Onlineblog leerstand dokumentiert.
Um das Anliegen einer möglichst breiten Öffentlichkeit zu vermitteln, geht die Leerstandsbeauftragte ferner auf Tournee. Der dort präsentierte Videoreport ‚Büro für Leerstand’ erläutert die notwendige Umsetzung dieses Projektes.

The vacancy office is proposing vacancies in Zurich. For this research project the vacancy representative forms experiments, obtains expertise and works on public relations. The project and the process are documented on the online blog leerstand.
In order to present the concerns to the public, the vacancy representative is going on tour. The video report showed there, underlines the need to implement this project.
